NKF&R’s certified child passenger safety technician checks child car seats for free on the second Saturday of every month, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Seat checks are held at the district’s headquarters fire station at 26642 Miller Bay Road NE near Kingston.



Join our firefighters to learn the vital skills needed to be helpful in the chain of survival. See a video demonstrating the local chain of survival in a simulated event. Read a story about how the chain of survival helped ensure the recovery of a recent Kingston-area cardiac arrest patient.

This American Heart Association class is offered free of charge.  Students needing course completion cards should bring a check or money order (we cannot accept cash, credit cards or app payments) for $20.75.
