(INDIANOLA, Kitsap County) -- After a vehicle apparently lost control on a corner of Indianola Road, the car suffered serious damage and a power pole was lifted from the ground -- though the driver escaped without injury. 

North Kitsap Fire  & Rescue crews were called to this curvy road's intersection with Geraldcliff Road at approximately 9:00pm, and found the driver out of the vehicle.  Powerlines hung over the roadway, and lights in the immediate vicinity were out.  The driver denied any injuries and refused medical transport. Fire personnel secured the scene and called for crews from Puget Sound Energy.

The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office investigated the cause of the crash.
